About Us

At Peregrine Private Capital Corporation, we help you invest in the future. Through shared decision-making, we work with you to simplify the securities and investment process and show you how to manage your funds through sound financial practices. As a full-service securities group Peregrine Private Capital Corporation has the experience and drive to meet nearly any investment need.

We can also guide you through the real estate investment tax deferment process and show you how to manage your portfolio through intelligent property exchange strategies. 1031 Exchanges into Delaware Statutory Trust (DST) properties allow property managers to sell their time-intensive, managed properties and acquire less onerous investment properties that may provide a comparable revenue stream for the owner. At Peregrine Private Capital Corporation, we can show you how to decrease labor costs, diversify investments, and potentially increase your after-tax cash flow.

Peregrine Private Capital Corporation is based in the Portland, Oregon metropolitan area, which sits at the hub of one of the most active real estate markets in North America. We take our responsibilities seriously when it comes to guiding your money management decisions, and we pride ourselves on upholding the highest ethical standards in the industry. Besides Oregon, we are also licensed in Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Hawaii, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, and Wisconsin.

As a 1031 exchange investment representative, Robert is a founding member of Alternative & Direct Investment Securities Association (ADISA) formerly known as REISA and TICA. He helped frame the organization's Code of Ethics and Consumer Best Practices Guidelines.

In 2006, Robert was one of only four registered reps nominated nationwide to receive ADISA's first ever "A Champion of Excellence" (ACE) award for outstanding ethical achievement as a tenant-in-common investment representative. The annual ACE Award honors outstanding ethical business practices. Robert was nominated for these award qualifications:

  • Nomination from an outside party
  • At least 24 TIC transactions or $10 million spanning 3 years
  • At least 3 years in business since January 1, 2004
  • Compliance with ADISA's Code of Ethics

The ACE award was created to recognize Alternative & Direct Investment Securities representatives who exemplify the vision of RDISA and its code of ethics. This code of ethics articulates the beliefs of ADISA members, and the practices expected from professionals and organizations that are part of the association.

In 2007, Robert was one of three finalists selected nationwide for 2007 Boomer Market Advisor Magazine's Advisor of the Year Award. The national magazine chose the top three investment representatives from numerous entries based on excellence in the following criteria: assets under management, target market and community involvement.
